New concept for my film. I feel it’s funnier to put something behind him….

These are some 2-10 min figure drawings I did in Glenn Vilppu’s life drawing class. He is such an amazing teacher that teaches you how to draw realistic figure from scratch. I am so glad his class is in our program’s curriculum. Sometimes I can find some awesome pretty drawings in my sketchbook. But when looked at them closely, I sadly realized they are Glenn’s… He is and always will be my motivation to draw.

I didn’t draw for quite a while after I started learning Maya. When I put my pencil on my sketchbook after abandoned it for 3 months, I didn’t even want to look at my drawings. I am so glad that finally I found my ability to draw, and, amazingly, those experiences in 3D becomes great tools for analyzing shapes and volumes. Improvement feels good!

My first and probably last cel animation “I DO”. Made at UCLA.

The concept art of my second year film “Milton”. It’s gonna be in 3D.
